Pick a good one

Back in the glory days when Bobby Valentine was the manager of the New York Mets, one could always count on him for entertainment.

Like here, for example, where he's apparently signaling his hitter on a 3-0 count to "pick a good one."

So tell me now. What is it with the Messiah and his consigliere that they feel the need to signal "pick a good one"? Does it have something to do with picking a new Supreme Court justice?

Or is it just that they personally feel that need that must be satisfied -- the need we've all felt since the age of, oh, maybe two -- the need to pick a good one?

Possibly related: A blast from the past: The Messianic salute. Obama nonchalantly flips off Hillary and McCain during the presidential campaign.
